WVU TEDx: Emily Calandrelli

West Virginia University held its first TED talk called TEDxWVU on campus. The ‘x’ in the name denotes that it was self-organized by a local team of individuals. Inspired by TED’s motto of, “Ideas worth spreading”, they invited speakers to share their ideas at the Media Innovation Center. Emily Calandrelli, an alumna of the NASA WV Space Grant program, was a speaker. Tickets sold out quickly, but a live stream of the event was available online by WVU.

A list of all speakers can be found here.
