When: October 10-11, 2023 Where: Community College of Allegheny County Do you want to learn more about how the U.S. can return to the lunar surface? Well, we’ve got an opportunity for you! Join us for the LSIC Fall Meeting October 10-11, which will include speakers, panels, posters, and breakout discussion sessions. Tours of the Moonshot Museum as well as select Carnegie Mellon University labs yielding lunar surface technologies will also be available. Topics will include the DARPA 10-Year Lunar Architecture (LunA-10) capability study that aims to develop foundational technology to create shareable, scalable systems to minimize a lunar footprint and create monetizable services for future lunar users, and so much more. In addition to the Fall Meeting, LSIC is hosting an engaging Commercial Lunar Workshop on October 12 at the Community College of Allegheny County. The workshop is all about transitioning to commercial lunar operations stimulated from improving knowledge of supply and demand and through the development of robust commercial on-ramps.
