Undergraduate Research Fellowship ProgramProvides state-level competitive funding for undergraduate students in a STEM discipline and enrolled in a WVSGC affiliate institution to become involved in a research project under the supervision of their academic advisor. Graduate Research Fellowship ProgramProvides state-level competitive funding for graduate students in a STEM discipline, enrolled in a WVSGC affiliate institution and working on a thesis or dissertation with faculty from member institutions. Community and Technical College students in WVStudent opportunities for fellowships during the academic year. These fellowships are awarded competitively to students enrolled in the WV CTCS system. There are no Requests for Proposals open at this time.

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship ProgramThe NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) provides fellowships to individuals selected early in their graduate careers based on their demonstrated potential for significant achievements in science and engineering. Three years of support is provided by the program for graduate study that is in a field within NSF's mission and leads to a research-based master's or doctoral degree.
