Up to 8 finalist teams will each receive a $8,000 stipend to facilitate the presentation of their concepts to a panel of NASA and industry subject matter experts at the 2024 Gateways to Blue Skies Forum at NASA’s Ames Research Center this May. Members of the winning team will be offered internship opportunities within NASA’s Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD). |
The 2024 Gateways to Blue Skies Competition seeks to investigate aviation-related capabilities that, if developed further or approached differently, could play a major role in modernizing existing disaster management practices. Interested and eligible teams should submit a 5-7-page proposal and a 2-minute video outlining their project by 11:59 PM ET on Tuesday, February 27, 2024*! A Notice of Intent is highly encouraged, but not required to participate. Submit an NOI now to receive competition updates!
