Meet Marlo Lively – Program Assistant

Marlo Lively joined the NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium and NASA WV EPSCoR as Program Assistant in early 2025, where she supports a range of administrative, research, and student-focused initiatives. In this role, she assists with coordinating fellowships, statewide events, and program outreach that contribute to STEM education, outreach, and workforce development.

As a West Virginia native, Marlo is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Resource Leadership at West Virginia University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2020. With a background in organizational psychology, human resources, and business, she takes a thoughtful, people-centered approach to her work—helping ensure that daily operations align with student needs and program goals. She is especially motivated by the opportunity to support students as they navigate college and prepare for their future careers.

Before joining Space Grant, Marlo worked in the hospitality industry and in various administrative roles, where she built experience in communication, problem-solving, and service—skills that continue to shape her approach today. She values organization, collaboration, and the chance to help create positive, student-centered experiences.
